The redesign of San Diego's La Pensione boutique hotel is featured in the May 2010 issue of California Home & Design:
"As it nears its 20th anniversary, La Pensione Hotel in San Diego's Little Italy district unveils a redesign by local architect Deniece Duscheone. The 69 guest rooms were updated in a palette of silver and pearlized white, with elegantly patterned wallpaper and tufted faux-ostrich headboards. A chandelier of 13 hand-blown glass balls is the focal point of the lobby, whose ochre and persimmon tones were inspired by Renaissance paintings."
